Today, my husband, toddler, and I woke up at 5am to drive from Des Moines to Chicago. I might add that I have come down with a nasty cold. By the time we reach the Windy City, my daughter and I are probably going to look and feel like Ann and Buster Phelphs at the end of Three on a Match.
If, by the time you reach Chicago, and you still feel like Ann at the end of ‘Three On A Match’, please resist any urge you might get to jump through a window from some six or seven story building. Okay?
Well, our hotel room is on the 10th floor…
I’ve made that Rt 80 Des Moines to Chi trip a few times. Good list from a few days back; Ann is not obscure to discerning fans. Thanks for writing the bio, very much looking forward to reading it.
I know Route 80 quite well now! Fortunately, Ann seems to be much less obscure now than when I first discovered her in the mid-90s, so hopefully there will be a decent amount of interest in the book. Thanks for the support!
