On August 12, 1948, the New York Times<\/em> reported that Ann Dvorak was sent an official contract to sign on for the lead role in the Broadway production of\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>Jean Paul Sartre’s T<\/a>he Resp<\/a>ectful Prostit<\/a>ute<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>Ann would be replacing Meg Mundy in the lead role and was scheduled to start on September 1st. Ann’s run at the Cort Theater would last a few months and was an overall success.
